Highlights at a glance

Tianjin Burkaf International Trade Co., Ltd. delivers the XL Series Dense Sandwich-Type Busbar Trunking System a modern, high-efficiency alternative to traditional cable-based power distribution that has become the preferred power transport solution for commercial high-rise buildings, industrial manufacturing facilities, data centers, and infrastructure projects where traditional cable installations have reached their practical limits. The defining structural characteristic visible at the open end of every busbar section is the dense sandwich construction: multiple flat copper conductor bars, precision-fabricated to exact dimensional tolerances and tin-plated for oxidation resistance, stacked vertically with precisely dimensioned insulating separators and compressed within an extruded aluminum alloy housing. This sandwich architecture achieves current-carrying capacity up to 6,300 amperes equivalent to multiple parallel runs of the largest standard power cables within a compact cross-section that occupies a fraction of the installation space required for equivalent cable systems. The aluminum alloy housing, with its distinctive flanged top profile secured by regularly spaced rivets, provides mechanical protection, electrical grounding continuity, and heat dissipation through its substantial external surface area, while the open-end configuration enables visual inspection of conductor integrity and straightforward connection to adjacent busbar sections, elbows, tees, and tap-off units.

The fundamental performance advantage of busbar trunking over cable systems derives from the physical geometry of the conductor. Flat copper bars, oriented parallel to each other with thin insulating layers between adjacent phases, maximize conductor cross-sectional area while minimizing the magnetic loop area that creates inductive reactance in cable systems.
