The CEER Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Complex is one of Saudi Arabia's strategic national projects under Vision 2030, aimed at establishing a local EV industry chain and diversifying the economy. The complex includes stamping, welding, painting, and assembly production lines.
Burkaf partnered with Dürr, a world-leading German supplier of painting and assembly systems, to provide high-quality cable trays and C-profiles (strut channels) for the Paint Shop and Assembly Systems.
Complex Production Lines: The paint shop and assembly systems involve numerous automated equipment, robots, conveyors, and control cabinets, requiring dense cable routing with strict segregation between power and signal cables.
High German Quality Standards: Dürr is known for rigorous technical specifications, demanding high dimensional accuracy, load capacity, and installation convenience from cable support systems.
Tight Project Schedule: As a national flagship project, the timeline was strict, requiring precise coordination between supply and installation.
Burkaf supplied a complete cable tray and C-profile support system to meet the complex electrical cabling requirements of the paint shop and assembly lines.
1. High-Precision Industrial Application
Burkaf cable trays and C-profiles are manufactured with high precision, with tightly controlled dimensional tolerances that perfectly matched Dürr's equipment and installation drawings, reducing on-site adjustments.
2. Flexible Support System
C-profiles and matching accessories enabled rapid construction of various equipment supports, tray hangers, and floor-mounted supports, adapting to the changing layout of the paint shop. Hot-dip galvanized finishing provided excellent corrosion resistance for the workshop environment.
3. Standardized Wiring for System Reliability
The cable tray system ensured effective separation between power cables and control/signal cables, reducing electromagnetic interference risks and ensuring stable operation of automated production lines.
4. Proven Ability to Work with International EPCs/Equipment Suppliers
Burkaf successfully aligned with Dürr's technical standards and procurement processes, demonstrating capability in cross-border project coordination, including drawing approval, sample submission, and batch delivery.
5. On-Time Delivery Aligned with Project Schedule
In line with the CEER project timeline, Burkaf achieved batch-by-batch on-time delivery, with no installation delays caused by cable tray or C-profile supply issues.
The Paint Shop and Assembly Systems of the CEER EV Manufacturing Complex were successfully commissioned in 2025.
The Burkaf cable tray and C-profile system was installed to specification and operated reliably, earning recognition from Dürr and client SEC.
Provided reliable electrical infrastructure support for the realization of Saudi Arabia's local EV industry chain.
